My name is Alexis, I am 20 years old.

My main language is Spanish, but I prefer English.

I am from Puerto Rico. A little island in the Caribbean. It is boring here. Hot and boring. Though soon I shall move to Canada with my awesome girlfriend, Andrea

I am also legally blind, I have a degenerative eye condition called Keratoconus; something most people I meet in this island seem not to realize even when they have talked to me and have seen me for months*cough*college*cough*. Last time I told my *friends* there, they just laughed and didn't believe me. They are so immature. Though I guess I am also kind of prideful and I hide it well. It seems they think I am normal because I don't need help and I *dress* normally and I don't walk in any weird or slow way.

I use special thick-as-hell contact lenses that are a pain in the ass, but they help greatly, as if I don't wear them I just have 2-3% eyesight. They used to help a lot but they aren't being good at all lately. They just work okay for when I use the computer, but sometimes, they decide to be bothersome and I can't see at all.

Needless to say, I love photography. I also use it as a way to see and *save* things I am not usually able to see as clearly or detailed, and it is a big motivation for me to keep on.

And yeah, if I take a little bit to answer you back on here, that is why.

By the way, I may add your pictures/art to my favorites without commenting. It is not because I am lazy; sometimes it is quite hard to leave comments, as my eyesight is quite unstable and I find it difficult concentrating. Also I am not the most talkative/outgoing person.
